10 Ethnic Dolls
Mom was a doll collector for many, many years, and at the time of her death, I inherited these dolls. This is her assortment of ethnic dolls. Most of them were given to her as gifts from friends and relatives that traveled. Very good to good condition.
Some special notes:
Irish lass wearing a cream-colored wool shawl was brought to mom from Ireland.
Bottom left & bottom right:
My uncle made two trips to Germany and brought home a doll for mom on each trip. The doll on the bottom left is Bavarian, the one on the right is from Austria.
My aunt made trips to Canada, England, and Scotland. She brought mom home a wooden carved Mountie on one trip, and a London Guard and a Scottish “troll” on another trip.
An original Cabbage Patch doll wearing a Scottish kilt.
Two small dolls. The one seated, in red, is a can-can dancer. The one standing, in blue, is a French lady.
Doll wearing brown. As near as I can tell, she is wearing Early American clothing.
